Wir wagen das Experiment, eines der wohl flüchtigsten und am wenigsten greifbaren Dinge, die es gibt, zu suchen, zusammenzutragen und zu archivieren – die leidenschaftliche Hingabe. Oft sind ganz einfache oder alltägliche Dinge die größte Inspirationsquelle – zumindest, wenn sie außergewöhnlich gut auf den Punkt gebracht sind oder auch nur mit großem Enthusiasmus verfolgt werden. Manchmal sind die Personen und ihre Geschichten sowie die Umstände der Entstehung – aus einem anderen Blickwinkel betrachtet – interessanter als die eindeutigen und vorzeigbaren Erfolge ihres Schaffens. Aber fast immer lässt sich eine schöne Idee als Ausgangspunkt für ein Vorhaben nutzen: Die begeisterung für etwas zu illustrieren und in eine Form zu bringen, die die Zeit länger überdauert als der Momentdes Entdeckens lang ist.
Am Ende dieses Prozesses steht ein Medium von, mit und für Menschen gedacht und gemacht, die einer großen Leidenschaft Ausdruck verleihen. Nicht mehr, aber nichtsdestotrotz auch sicher nicht weniger.

We are risking an experiment to look for, collect and archive one of the least tangible things there is, namely passionate dedication. Very often it is the simple everyday things that are the source of great inspiration, at least when they have been achieved extremely well, or even if they have just been followed with great enthusiasm. Sometimes the persons, their stories and the circumstances surrounding their origins – seen from a different viewpoint – are more interesting than the singular and obvious success of their creation. Almost always though a beautiful idea is used as the initial starting point for an enterprise in order to illustrate the enthusiasm for something and to put it in a form that lasts longer than the moment of discovery.
At the end of this process a medium is created with and for people that express great passion. Not more than that but definitely not less.
