CRAFTED IN JAPAN
Casa BRUTUS Special Edition: Kashiyuka Shop, Past and Present
A journey through Japan's beautiful handicrafts.
Items that add a touch of luxury to everyday life, items that capture the essence of Japanese culture.
Kashiyuka, the shop owner and buyer, travels the country in search of such handicrafts, visiting sites of craftsmanship from all over Japan, from Hokkaido to Okinawa, throughout history.
And in spring 2025, she will finally open a brick-and-mortar shop, bringing together all the exquisite pieces she has purchased so far!
Retracing the footsteps of her travels through all 47 prefectures, which she has been covering in her serialization in this magazine since 2018,
she will bring you the "elegance" of traditional Japanese artisans' crafts and the charm of beautiful handicrafts.
Kashiyuka Shop will open this spring.
