HÅNDVÆRK Bookazine – Number 15: Transformation

HÅNDVÆRK is a Danish bookazine about craft, design, materials and making, created by Rigetta Klint. Each issue combines photography, interviews and long-form conversations with makers, designers and craftspeople.

Number 15: Transformation explores how ideas such as circularity, regeneration, downcycling and upcycling are changing the way we think about materials, production and resources. The issue looks at transformation not as a buzzword, but as a practical and cultural response to the climate, biodiversity and resource crises.

Through conversations with designers, artists, craftspeople and producers including Pil Bredahl, Jonas Edvard, Camilla Berner, Janne Axelsen, Sif Thieme and Andreas Dalland, the issue examines how materials, objects and systems can be rethought, reused and given new life.
