Nytt Rom – Issue 103: The Setting of The Tone Issue

NYTT ROM is a Norwegian magazine presenting Scandinavian design, architecture and living.

Artist and filmmaker Oscar Qvale’s combined studio and apartment in Oslo is guided by moods, with a scenography shifting according to the daylight. Kristine Aarflot’s attic in Frogner features large skylights and a ticking grandfather clock, a guaranteed mood maker. Kristine Glenna Kragset bought an old heritage listed house where she uncovered original details and designed new solutions to blend with the old. We have also visited singer Emilie Nicholas and actor Herbert Nordrums charming apartment, the new studio of Olssøn Barbieri and the vintage universe of Ruby Atelier in Copenhagen.
