Style and inspiration for contemporary tribes
Motivated by the release of our publication, right in the middle of the Salone del Mobile and the now unmissable Milan Design Week, which takes place alongside the fair, we decided to highlight the major figures of this 2025 edition with a double cover.
Faye Toogood is our first guest. The world of this prolific British designer defies gender categories, evolving between fashion, furniture, interior design, small objects, and art with the same curiosity, driven by a vision: that of succeeding in arousing emotion. Because, at a time when we're about to see hundreds of new products, from lighting to sofas, from creations to reissues, it's up to her to set the record straight: "Our world really doesn't need more stuff." If we design them, we must ensure that they contribute to our well-being, our health, and the expression of our humanity. Design is an ally of change, and designers can be its interpreters."
Our best current interpreters are to be discovered and met in this issue. Like the creative Oscar Piccolo, the jewelry designer @roshmahtani, or Ditte Reffstrup, creative director of the Danish brand Ganni, with which she challenges the idea that Scandinavian fashion is only minimalism and monochrome colors. In her home, as in the patterns of her collections, it is above all a question of contrasts, eclectic touches, unexpected elements, joy, and personality.
